Perhaps you came across *La Tristitude mathématique three years ago, a cover of Oldelaf's song that tackled the most common mistakes and woes of maths lessons with humour, derision and immense kindness. The duo have since followed it up with an anthem to maths and have recently released a real little gem. This time, they have reworked Rockollection* by Laurent Voulzy (Injection Labels, 1977). The students in the choir at collège Robert-le-Frison in Cassel, led by Damien Lamiaux, sing about the lives of great mathematicians, with a breathtaking result in every respect.
