The editors of Tangente are regularly looking for new writers to strengthen the team. Do you enjoy writing about mathematics and making it accessible to as many people as possible? Do you follow the latest developments in mathematics and want to bring them within everyone's reach? Do you enjoy recounting unusual anecdotes or discussing a surprising theorem? Are you passionate about the history of mathematics? Or the connections between mathematics and the arts or other disciplines? Our "history", "knowledge", "current knowledge", "initiatives" and "connections" sections welcome your submissions.

We will send you a document summarizing Tangente's editorial guidelines. You will then receive the minutes of editorial meetings, together with calls for articles. You will also be able to submit your own proposals. Better still, once you have gained experience with our magazine, you will be invited to attend editorial meetings and may even apply to coordinate special features or entire special issues.

Contribute to communications or IT -------------------------------------------------

Tangente urgently needs to expand its readership by attracting new subscribers and newsstand buyers. The number of subscribers to Tangente has changed little in recent years. By contrast, far fewer people now buy individual issues from newsstands than before the Covid pandemic. Moreover, the disastrous rise in paper prices is eating into every publisher's cash reserves! Your support has been invaluable to us during this difficult period.

Are you involved in a field that gives you the know-how to reach large numbers of potential readers? Do you have time to help us with public outreach and communications aimed at potential advertisers? If your answer to either question is "yes", and you are eager to help us, please contact Gilles Cohen (**). We will be able to suggest opportunities that suit you.

Recruit new active members for Club Tangente ----------------------------------------------

As you know, Club Tangente, an association founded in 2013 alongside Éditions POLE, the magazine's publisher, organizes numerous events that bring mathematics to the public. These include the Tangente Awards, whose 2022 awards ceremony took place during Tangente Day on December 4 and is described in the article "The 2022 Tangente Awards ceremony". The current executive committee, chaired by Bertrand Hauchecorne, is looking to recruit new members. We welcome anyone willing to volunteer with the association.
