Open to everyone and led by enthusiasts, both professional and amateur mathematicians, the club has been running since January. Its aim is to "explore non-academic mathematics hands-on, and experience its creative potential and emotional power."
The meetings are held twice a month, from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m. Each session is planned to unfold in two parts: first, an introduction to the topic and its implications for everyday life, followed by demonstrations and hands-on experiments through which participants can "experience" mathematics.
