Xavier and his friend Yves are in a bar, talking about… blondes. Xavier defends them, claiming that they are no more stupid than anyone else. He even insists that the young waitress is far better at mathematics than people think. When Yves steps away for a moment, Xavier beckons the young woman over, slips a ten-euro note into her hand and says: "My colleague is going to ask you a question. Just answer: "One-third x cubed." Make sure you remember that; I'll call you over in a moment!" She walks away, earnestly repeating "one turd of exycubed…". Yves returns and announces: "I bet the waitress, for instance, can't calculate antiderivatives!" "That's not true!" "You'll see!" He calls the young blonde woman over and asks her: *"What is an antiderivative of x²?" She replies: "One-third x cubed." "See? I told you so!" Xavier exclaims triumphantly. The waitress then turns around and, as she walks away, murmurs: "Plus a constant!"*
