This is probably the most prestigious award for mathematics outreach initiatives. This year it goes to the "Les maths dans tous leurs états" festival in Castanet-Tolosan, Haute-Garonne, organized by the "Les maths en scène" association. Part of Mathematics Week, whose theme is "Let's put mathematics on stage," the event features numerous booths and activities devoted to mathematics and digital technology.
The association **(*) has plenty of other strings to its bow, including the "Regards de géomètre" project, which helps school students discover mathematics through the worlds of art and science. A richly deserved award for this vibrant association, which remains true to its slogan: "Mathematics where you least expect it."*
