Born out of a meeting of teachers and researchers from Grenoble in June 2015, "La grange des maths" () organizes its work around three areas: outreach to the general public, travelling educational kits, and the development of "La Grange des Maths," a public mathematics center. It is currently developing several educational programs designed to "do mathematics differently." These include the award-winning travelling workshops "La Grange Vadrouille" for middle schools and "La Grange École" for elementary schools.
Another program, "Mission exoplanètes," is ready for school students and the general public. More collaborative in nature, it will include an exhibition-design component. Congratulations to everyone involved in this original approach to making mathematics less intimidating!
