At the end of an interminable day, as Romuald-Oscar was still wondering how to get through lockdown with some peace of mind, an alert on his mobile phone told him that the washing machine had finished its spin cycle. His father's particular form of remote working involved regular trips between the fridge and the TV, so he could not leave his post. He promptly yelled to his son: "RO, go hang out the laundry—and use as few lines as possible!"
