Tangente: We discovered your work in France through Clifford Alan Pickover's magnificent book *le Beau Livre des maths (Dunod, 2010), for which you produced several illustrations. How did you meet him?*
Teja Krašek: Because of my interest in geometry and symmetry, I already knew of Clifford Pickover through his earlier books. He is a prolific author with more than fifty books to his name. We share many interests: we are both fascinated by the boundary between geometry and art, enthralled by the history of science, the many forms of symmetry and the infinite beauty of fractals…
Our collaboration began when he invited me to join his online think tank. Since then, we have created artworks together, and I have had the privilege of reviewing and commenting on his books. Some of my works were created especially for The Moebius Strip (Basic Books, 2007), *le Beau Livre de la physique (Dunod, 2012), and his international best-seller, le Beau Livre des maths*.
